The purpose of MassBike
is to promote the bicycle as a safe, healthful, enjoyable, efficient,
and environmentally sound means of transportation, to seek to establish
an atmosphere which enhances those desirable qualities of bicycle
transportation, and to serve and protect the interests of the bicycling
public.

The Berkshire
Bike Path Council, founded in 1998, is a non-profit membership
organization dedicated to facilitating bike path development in
Berkshire County.

TrailLink
is a service provided by Rails-to-Trails
Conservancy (RTC), America's leader in assisting local communities
in converting abandonded railroad corridors into community trails.

The Massachusetts
Highway's Bicycling Page has online maps of several bike
paths and information on their statewide bicycle transportation
plan.

Promotes bicycling for fun, fitness and transportation and works
through advocacy and education for a bicycle-friendly America. Check
the League
of American Bicyclists Calendar for rides and events in
your state.

The Bicycle Friendly Community Campaign is an awards
program that recognizes municipalities that actively support bicycling.
A Bicycle-Friendly Community provides safe accommodation for cycling
and encourages its residents to bike for transportation and recreation.
The League of American Bicyclists administers the Bicycle Friendly
Community Campaign.
